N(3) Drives IP Device Sales and Microsoft OCS Deployment for Nortel

Nortel offers unified communications solutions (UC) that help make it easier for your workforce to connect, communicate and collaborate with each other, customers and suppliers.

Since 2006, the Nortel and Microsoft Innovative Communications Alliance has been accelerating the adoption of unified communications through joint solution innovation and by enabling better UC solutions and services.

The Challenge

Microsoft and Nortel CALA were working together on a UC solution which includes in-house services for Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) and hardware that can be connected to telecom infrastructure, database access, voice infrastructure and OCS.

Campaign Goals and N(3) Strategy

N(3) worked with Nortel to execute a sales opportunity development campaign to test the market of OCS customers interested in including IP Phones as part of their deployment. The high level campaign goal was to sell 6,000 Nortel units and promote the deployment and use of Microsoft OCS. Nortel leveraged Microsoft’s PSP Execution Engine to execute a campaign with N(3) to generate opportunities for the UC Alliance.
