
Secure Remote Access Provider uses Channel and Partner Recruitment Service to Partner with ISVs
Citrix provides access infrastructure products that enable PCs, IP phones, and other devices to remotely and securely access applications across wired and wireless networks. Founded in 1989, and based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the company is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Today, Citrix’s more than 160,000 worldwide customers include individual professionals, government and education verticals, as well as multinational corporations.
Citrix Access Essentials web-enables any Windows based application simply and quickly, giving users fast, secure and easy access to line-of-business applications and corporate information from any standard web browser over the internet.
The Challenge
Citrix identified an opportunity to increase their partner channel by targeting companies with assets and technicians out in the field. The business value added to the Partners recruited for this effort included adding value for customers through a packaged access solution and reducing time to market as well as overheads of deploying and managing applications, along with product differentiation and extension of the application user base.
Campaign Goals and Strategy
The effort focused on recruiting ISVs and establishing individual relationships while gaining reseller mindshare by building a framework to ensure ISV revenue generation.
N(3) developed and managed a channel and partner recruitment campaign to promote the benefits of the Citrix Access Essentials partnership and recruit participants in North America, EMEA and LAC, targeted at Microsoft application ISVs which were educated on the channel opportunity and registered commit to partnering with Citrix to support, bundle, or utilize Citrix’s unique remote access technology.
